As if you needed another reason to support independent bookshops... Now Joe "Don't Call Me Son of Stephen King" Hill (did you know he is Stephen King's son?) has made it interesting. Maybe not as interesting as it perhaps could be, but indies do need all the help they can get, especially in the UK, where publishers Hodder have granted chain-store Waterstones a four month head start over all other competitors in selling Glen David Gold's new novel Sunnyside. Strange times.
